Server integrations

Run the page
in your application stack.

Python pages use a Python host. JavaScript pages use Node.js or Bun. Each host connects the page to the shared Gramlot browser runtime.

Python adapters.

gramlot-py-server serves Python Page modules, their resources and declared endpoints. Choose the adapter that fits your existing application:

  • Uvicorn / ASGI for a first standalone server.
  • FastAPI or Flask to mount pages in an application.
  • Django to include pages in a URL configuration.
  • Kajenn for the Genro host integration.

Adapters host pages and RPC. They do not supply an ORM or automatically connect the application to a database.

Node.js and Bun.

@gramlot/gramlot-js-server runs JavaScript Page modules. The server builds Source; the browser runs the interface and its Logic methods.

The project scaffold includes commands for Node.js and Bun. Choose the server entry point for your runtime when configuring your own application.

A separate delivery model

Serverless is a bonus track.

The browser Worker host packages JavaScript pages for local execution. It has different use cases and boundaries from a trusted application server.
