A modest offline promise is valuable.
A person completing a survey should be able to enter an answer, see a calculated summary and correct a local validation error without waiting for a distant server. A self-contained JavaScript page can run those operations in the browser.
That makes Gramlot’s Worker profile relevant to checklists, training exercises and structured field questionnaires. The initial pilot should use only resources and operations that really work locally.
Treat saving as part of the task.
Data held in browser memory do not survive closing the page by themselves. Give the person an explicit draft-saving step and explain where the saved file goes. Restoring that file is a separate deliberate action.
For an operational workflow, test interruptions: close the page after saving, reopen it and restore the draft. Test the exact browsers and devices you intend people to use; a desktop file workflow is not evidence for every mobile file manager.
Separate collection from delivery.
A person can export structured answers and hand over the file, or submit through an available connection to a receiving service. The service needs to identify the submission, validate it and decide how to handle duplicates.
Local field checks can improve quality, but availability checks and other server-backed rules require their service. The interface should make that distinction visible instead of presenting an unperformed check as passed.
Know which requirements are another project.
Camera capture, geolocation, encrypted storage, automatic synchronization and conflict resolution are not promised by this scenario. If the workflow needs them, establish the relevant framework and application capabilities explicitly.
Start by proving the collection, saved draft and delivery path. That gives you a concrete foundation for deciding whether additional device integration is necessary.
